I found DVD-books of ancient movie with visual effect by TOHO are now sold in a book shop, such as "Godilla", "Mosla", and "KingGidra" and so on..I am crazy about them unexpectedly.
At first, I just wanted to buy one of them, "Kaitei-Gunkan", which means Submarine warship, but I found myself to get all of them unconsciously.
I also want to have a mini model kit of "Kaitei-Gunkan".
Yes! The movie stars for me were not heros nor heroins, but were those monsters and supports actors, actresses.
Nostalgia runs deep for me with "a song of Mosla" by twin singers "the peanuts".
I do not remember but I suppose I saw the movie "Mosla" in TV program, not in a theatre.
The DVDs include books, Posters and documents with actors, actresses name, sometimes precious staff.
I am impressed to know even Ms. Akiko Wakabayashi, a Bond girl in "You only live twice", performed in visual effect movie as well.
Recently I really miss Japanese old movies on TV program... why do they revive them on?
2000 JPY for each DVD twice a month is inexpensive? Hang on them for a while I think.
先日、日本アカデミーショーの発表がありましたが、それとは全然関係なく・・・
さて、今、東宝の特撮映画のＤＶＤが隔週で本屋さんで売られています。
ゴジラ、モスラ、キングギドラｅｔｃ．まだ、まだ・・続々と。
思わず、ハマッテしまいました。
当初は、海底軍艦だけ欲しい（５巻目）と思っておったのですが、気がつけば全部買ってます。 ・・海底軍艦の模型が欲しい。
幼き日に見た怪獣たちは私にとってのムービースターだったと言うのを実感しました。そして、出演者も。
ｻﾞ・ピーナッツのモスラの歌にはこみ上げるものがあります。
モスラは、年齢的に映画館で見ることはないので、たぶんテレビの放映で見たのだと思いますが。
００７シリーズで、私が好きな「００７は二度死ぬ」で出演されていた若林映子さんも東宝特撮に度々出演されていると知って感動です。
ＤＶＤには、本が付いていて解説と、当時のポスター、出演の俳優さん（脇役さんの名前）など。貴重なものも含まれています。
そういえば、地上波で古い映画（昭和中期頃の）めっきりやらなくなったな。・・・見る年代が違ってきたからなのか。
しかし、隔週とはいえ、二千円近い買い物は大変です。
昼飯を削って買い続けますか・・・・
