What' Japanese Music? Sixty Four Company

　前置きはそのくらいで、桜は日本の花として世界的に有名です。

そろそろ

 

そろそろ、花見のお誘いが来る頃になりました。と言いつつ風邪をひいて寝込んでしまいました。と、思っていたら４月になってしまいました。まだ、寒い日が続きますのでご用心を。

 

 

トラディショナルな曲「さくらさくら」も日本人意外にも好まれているとか。（本当か？）

キース・ジャレットも「さくらさくら」が日本の曲で一番好きとか

 

＊・・・未確認です。どこかで聞いたような記憶が？・・・・

 

そこで、今の日本の音楽って欧米の方はどのくらい知られているのでしょうか？また、興味があるのでしょうか。・・・

　アジアではとりあえずＪ－ＰＯＰが聞かれているでしょうからある程度は認知があると思いますが。欧州では、アニソン、ビジュアル系、テクノかな？かなりコアな音楽Ｆｕｎの方なら日本音楽を聴いていてくれているのかな？米国では？なんでしょう？
　（いまだに、ｓｕｉｙａｉではないと思いますが）

　欧米どちらでも日本の古典音楽（三味線、太鼓、など）のライブは好評のような記事を時々目にします。ポップスではちょっと前に、松田聖子さん、宇多田ヒカルさん、などの方が進出されていたようですが。現在はどうなっているのでしょか？

・・・申し訳ありませんが勉強不足で分かりません。

　欧米の方に現地で直接、現在の日本の音楽について聞いたことがないので想像すら出来ません。（なまの声を聞きたい）
　今度、是非機会を作ってお話を聞きたいと思っています。

　
　所謂、視察旅行ってやつですか。
　　　　　・・・実態はただ旅行に行きたいだけですが。

そんなこんなで、今年度は日本の音楽の世界的普及の為に窓口として頑張らねば。
　　　　　
　　　　　・・・・新年度を迎えての心意気でした。

  

Avator, a hot movie to see! I enjoyed to see the 3D movie
after long absent since Captain EO in Tokyo Disney Land! Haha!
And it's a first time to see it in a theatre.

I could not compare with some other recent 3D movies,
but I guess it is really incredible one I believe. I would say
it is , what should I say, like a "Reality", I felt it looks like a
true world.

3D glass was comfortable and there was no difference to
watch without it for eyes.

I remember some news article said "Some people could
not come back from Avator world". They strongly believe it
is a real world what they really want.


3DTV will be supplied soon. I feel it would penetrate into
an ordinal family pretty smoothly.

I think such incredible device needs more attractive
software, to be enjoyable for customers.
More resources including money would be needed for high
quality contents rather than before within limited budget.
That will be hard to create. I would like to encourage staffs
in movie company.

話題のアバター見ました。
３D映像はひさしぶりです。
前回いつ見たかというと？
たしか、ディズニーランドでマイケル・ジャクソンの
キャプテンEO以来かと！

通常の映画館で見たのは今回が初めてかも・・・

アバター以前にもここ近年何作かあったようですが？
残念ながら見ていないので、
アバターとの比較ができないのですが、
確かにすごいものがありました。

リアリティといいますか。本当にこんな世界が、
あるように思ってしまってもおかしくないような
感じでした。

３Dメガネをかけていても、目は疲れないし、
通常に映画を見るのとなんら、
変わらなかったし・・

何かのニュースで、アバター見た後、
現実に戻れない人が、
多数出ていると記事にありました。
あったらいいな的な願望もあるのでしょうか？

３DTVも近々発売もあり、一般家庭への
浸透も早いのではないかと・・・

しかし、ハードの進歩はよいとして、
いいソフトがなければ
良いハードがあっても楽しめません。

5.1 channel, make me imagine surround-sound system for movie.
But Engineers for the sound effect said it purposes to reproduce the sound of real location in such as documentary films.
So they said it may make a kind of "fake" sound by separating real sound into several channels.

To reproduce sound for 5.1 channels, they have to record with specific microphones which is separated into 6.(but I am not sure about it)

And a following is funny story.
Last year, some director insisted to record music in a movie by 5.1 channels.
We managed to get additional finance and succeeded to record it anyway.
However, an engineer for mixing gave a word, "I intend to modify 5.1 channel sound to 4 channel, since the movie theater has 4 channel equipment only"...

Additionally, to develop CD for sound-track, it made into 2 channels.

Finally, a sponsor had agreed to develop DVD.
I thought 5.1 channels could see the light of the day...but another sound-effect was not recorded by surround-sound, was revealed...impossible...

The legend of 5.1 channels sound does exist only in my Hard disk recorder system.


5.1chというと私的には、映画などのサラウンドを
想像してしまいます。音響効果の人と話したが
そもそもサラウンドはドキュメンタリーなど
実際の場所、現場の音をそれに近い環境で伝えるため
のものという意識があるらしい。
（現場で音を録るのは効果さんではなく音声さんですが）

だからチャンネルに音を分けてサラウンドにするのは
似非（偽物）と言う思いもある・・・と語っていた。


現場音を５．１サラウンドで録るのは
それ用のサラウンドマイクでとるようだ。
どんなものか見たことがないが１つのマイクの先が
６ｃｈに分かれているみたいです。

さて、ここからは失敗談
１昨年公開の映画の仕事で音楽をどうしても５．１ｃｈで
録りたいといいだいした人がいて（笑）・・・・・

皆さまの努力でなんとか（お金的にも）録りました。

が・・のち、音楽、効果音などを映像に入れ込む作業で。


ミキシングエンジニアから、一言。
上映館が単館で劇場は４ｃｈなので
５．１ｃｈを４ｃｈに直します・・と
｛最初から単館の配給（一応は東名阪福は配給された）
だって言ってあったと思うのだけど・・・と｝

さてさて、サウンドトラックＣＤも作る事になって
今度は２ｃｈにミックスし直し。

昨年、DVD化の話がまとまって
５．１ｃｈが日の目を見る日がくるかと・・待っていたら。

DVDを５．１ｃｈサラウンドにするにあたって
SE(効果音が）サラウンドで収録されてないってことで
結局だめ・・

今、あの５．１ミックス音源は私のHDの中にだけ存在します。

The "A day of hutong" also won the Concolt international film festival in Italy and the world festival Huston international film festival. Fortunately, I had a chance to join his next new art work.
(Frankly, we are a long term friend for drinking and talking rather than colleague in work...hahaha)
And I attended the review for the art work at the theatre Shinjyuku.


The title of the short film is "Hana-flower", which was recorded with using a specific camera called "RED", as featured in Hollywood!!.
And I personally believe it was finished as tremendous beautiful and qualified movie with a full of Japanese view.
I featured the piano sound since the director demanded music for background should be simple and neat. In fact, it's the most difficult to do "simple", but I could express fugacious or languid feeling with it anyway. I put my sprit into each tone by tone.

I am not sure when the art could appear to audience, and I would like to express my appreciations to the director for inviting me for the art work.

ＢＥＮ　ＳＵＺＵＫＩ監督・・・・作品「胡同の一日」

「胡同の一日」はほかにコンコルト国際短編映画際（イタリア）審査員特別賞、ワールドフェスト・ヒューストン国際映画祭（アメリカ）金賞受賞で、
昨年はすばらしいご活躍でした。その彼の新作のショートフィルムのお手伝いをしました。

彼とは飲み友達（笑）・・・ではなくて（そうとも言うが）
映画、ＣＭ、昨今の世情、などについて語れる、尊敬できる長年の良き仕事仲間です。

その、ＢＥＮ　ＳＵＺＵＫＩ監督の新作ショートフィルムのお披露目会と打ち上げ会が先日、新宿シアターでありました。

＊打ち上げ会には参加できませんで、セッティングしてくださったスタッフの方々にはご迷惑おかけしました。


ショートフィルムのタイトルは「花」私は音楽担当なので撮影機材等についてあまり詳しくないので詳細は書けませんが、カメラは今、ハリウッドで注目されている「レッド」？というカメラで撮影したとのこと。

私が言うのはなんですが、上質な映像に仕上がってます。前回は中国で、今回は日本の風景です。

音楽はあくまでも清楚でシンプルにと言うことでピアノで空気感をだしました。
シンプルにって言われると難しいです。（笑）　　ＢＧＭだと流れてしまうので。
「物憂げな」とか「儚さ」とかを音楽で表現できたような・・・・・？

今回、声をかけていただきＢＥＮ監督ありがとうございました。

てなことで、反省もありますが音ひとつひとつ大事に作りました。
どのタイミングで皆様にご覧いただけるのかわかりませんが、楽しみにしててください。
